Empowering women, youth and people with disabilities through regenerative practices for a sustainable future
We are Vukani BoMake — a vibrant, community-driven social enterprise rooted in Eswatini. Since 2020, we’ve been committed to empowering rural women, youth, and people living with disabilities through practical vocational and business development training.
We are dedicated to empowering women and people living with disabilities—awakening talent, fostering business acumen, and transforming waste into sustainable futures for Eswatini’s underserved communities, while preserving our environment.
Vukani BoMake celebrated the graduation of a cohort of 10 women from the Motjane Inkhundla who completed a 3-month capacitation on sewing. The women were taught how to sew using waste materials. This fell in line with the day of the graduation – October 15 which is the International Day of Rural Women. Under the theme celebrations women building climate resilience.
The event was graced by the Honourable Minister of Tinkhundla and the MP of Motjane who brought these wonderful ladies to be capacitated by Vukani BoMake.
This month, we wear pink with purpose.
Let’s talk about breast health, encourage screenings, and stand in solidarity with every fighter, survivor, and family affected.
Together, we can turn awareness into action. 🌸

A little over a month after the launch of the Lobamba Lomdzala Cottage factory, the women were visited by a representative of @manzini_city. It was then when after seeing their wonderful products, the municipality entrusted our women with making 200 upcycled bags for the attendants of the @icmaorg 2025 Eswatini Urban Development Seminar! It was a lot of tireless work to get this order done but a huge step in the right direction for them to be able to establish their own self sustaining businesses! Thank you so much @manzini_city

💬 “Another woman. Another story. 🌸
We asked what being a woman means, and her answer is as powerful as her work.
From textile waste, she creates products that empower — and she’s open for orders and collaborations. 💪♻️
